This region is located in the south of the country and hosts the Kalahari, the Namib Desert and the Fish River Canyon. Hunting in this area is mainly restricted to the Kalahari in the east and the southern area close to the Fish River Canyon.

Mostly plains game is hunted here with leopard and other smaller predators available from time to time. Oryx, springbuck and eland is the most common species found here.
